[Machine] It was narrated that the Prophet ﷺ was presented with a man who was suspected of being drunk. The Prophet ﷺ struck him with his sandals forty times.  

أحمد:١١٢٧٧حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ عَنْ زَيْدٍ الْعَمِّيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الصِّدِّيقِعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أُتِيَ بِرَجُلٍ قَالَ مِسْعَرٌأَظُنُّهُ فِي شَرَابٍ فَضَرَبَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِنَعْلَيْنِ أَرْبَعِينَ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was brought a man who had committed theft, so he flogged him with forty strikes using sandals and said, "The punishment is deserved, I think, for stealing."
