أحمد:١١٠٤٨ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الْخَفَّافُ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ مَطَرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ أَنَّ ذَكْوَانَ أَبَا صَالِحٍ قَالَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ خَيْرًا حَدَّثَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُمْ نُهُوا

عَنِ الصَّرْفِ رَفَعَهُ رَجُلَانِ مِنْهُمْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

[Machine] "That Dakwan, the father of Salih, praised and spoke highly of him. He narrated from Jabir ibn Abdullah, Abu Sa'id, and Abu Hurairah that they forbade the use of excessive words. Two men from them reported it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."
