[Machine] Ma'iz ibn Malik came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and informed him that he had committed a grave sin. He repeated his confession several times. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered that he be stoned to death. We then went and stoned him. We went to the haram (sacred area) and stoned him again. Then we returned to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and informed him about it. In the evening, he stood up and praised Allah and supplicated to Him. Then he said, "Why is it that people have fallen upon my companion with false accusations?"
