[Machine] He said, "I have never prayed behind anyone whose prayer resembled the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ more than so-and-so, a man whose name he mentioned." Al-Dhahhak narrated, "Bukayr ibn Abdullah told me that Sulaiman ibn Yasir said, 'I prayed behind that man and saw him prolong the first two units of the Dhuhr prayer and shorten the last two, and he would also shorten the Asr prayer. In the Maghrib prayer, he would recite a moderate amount, and in the Isha prayer, he would recite the lengthy Surahs and the ones that resembled them. Then in the Fajr prayer, he would recite the lengthy Surahs from the verses that are in pairs."  

أحمد:١٠٨٨٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ حَدَّثَنِي الضَّحَّاكُ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَا صَلَّيْتُ وَرَاءَ أَحَدٍ أَشْبَهَ صَلَاةً بِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ فُلَانٍ إِنْسَانًا قَدْ سَمَّاهُ قَالَ الضَّحَّاكُ فَحَدَّثَنِي بُكَيْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ وَرَاءَ ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلِ فَرَأَيْتُهُ يُطَوِّلُ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الْأُولَيَيْنِ مِنَ الظُّهْرِ وَيُخِفُّ الْآخِرَيْنِ وَيُخِفَّ الْعَصْرَ وَيَقْرَأُ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ بِقِصَارِ الْمُفَصَّلِ وَيَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِشَاءِ بِالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا وَمَا يُشْبِهُهَا ثُمَّ يَقْرَأُ فِي الصُّبْحِ بِالطُّوَالِ مِنَ الْمُفَصَّلِ
