[Machine] "Give me the arm and I will give it to him," the Messenger of Allah said. Then he said, "Give me the arm and I will give it to him." Then he said, "Give me the arm," and the person said, "O Messenger of Allah, sheep only have two arms." He said, "If you had searched for it, you would have found it."  

أحمد:١٠٧٠٦ – حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ شَاةً طُبِخَتْ فَقَالَ

رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَعْطِنِي الذِّرَاعَ فَنَاوَلَهَا إِيَّاهُ فَقَالَ أَعْطِنِي الذِّرَاعَ فَنَاوَلَهَا إِيَّاهُثُمَّ قَالَ أَعْطِنِي الذِّرَاعَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّمَا لِلشَّاةِ ذِرَاعَانِ قَالَ أَمَا إِنَّكَ لَوِ الْتَمَسْتَهَا لَوَجَدْتَهَا

ذِكْرُ خَبَرٍ أَوْهَمَ فِي تَأْوِيلِهِ جَمَاعَةٌ لَمْ يُحْكِمُوا صِنَاعَةَ الْعِلْمِ

[Machine] "I slaughtered a sheep for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he said, 'Give me the foreleg.' So, I gave it to him. Then he said, 'Give me the foreleg.' So, I gave it to him. Then he said, 'Give me the foreleg.' I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, a sheep only has two forelegs.' He said, 'If you had sought it, you would have found it.'"

ذَبَحْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ» فَنَاوَلْتُهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ «نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ» فَنَاوَلْتُهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ «نَاوِلْنِي الذِّرَاعَ» قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّمَا لِلشَّاةِ ذِرَاعَانِ قَالَ «أَمَا إِنَّكَ لَوِ ابْتَغَيْتَهُ لَوَجَدْتَهُ»
