ahmad:10658Ibn ʿĀmir > Abū Bakr > Hishām > Muḥammad > Abū Hurayrah

[Machine] A man entered his family's house, and when he saw their need, he went out to the wilderness. When his wife saw that, she went to the millstone and ground the grain, and then she went to the oven and baked it. Then she said, "O Allah, provide for us." She looked and found the bin full. She went to the oven and found it full as well. The husband returned and asked, "Did you find anything after me?" His wife said, "Yes, from our Lord." He stood up and mentioned this to the Prophet ﷺ , who said, "Indeed, if he had not raised it up, it would have continued to grind until the Day of Resurrection. I bear witness that I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, 'By Allah, it is better for one of you to come, carrying his son, and then sell him, seeking his provisions, than to come to a man and ask him.'"
