ahmad-zuhd:874ʿAbdullāh from my father > Abū Muʿāwiyah And Wakīʿ al-Maʿná Wāḥid > al-Aʿmash > al-Musayyab b. Rāfiʿ > Innī Laʾabghaḍ al-a man

[Machine] To see him empty, not engaged in anything from the work of this world nor the work of the hereafter.  

الزهد لأحمد:٨٧٤حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ وَوَكِيعٌ الْمَعْنَى وَاحِدٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ قَالَ قَالَ إِنِّي لَأَبْغَضُ الرَّجُلَ

أَنْ أَرَاهُ فَارِغًا لَيْسَ فِي شَيْءٍ مِنْ عَمَلِ الدُّنْيَا وَلَا عَمَلِ الْآخِرَةِ
