الزهد لأحمد:٦٩٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَمْرٍو الْأَزْدِيُّ نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ أَبِي هَارُونَ الْغَنَوِيِّ عَنْ حِطَّانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ «أَتَدْرُونَ كَيْفَ أَبْوَابُ جَهَنَّمَ؟» قَالَ قُلْنَا «كَنَحْوِ هَذِهِ الْأَبْوَابِ» قَالَ

«لَا وَلَكِنَّهَا هَكَذَا» وَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ فَوْقُ وَبَسَطَ أَبُو عُمَرَ يَدَهُ عَلَى يَدِهِ
