الزهد لأحمد:٦٩٤ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ عَنْ أَبِي بَحْرٍ عَنْ شَيْخٍ لَهُمْ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ عَلَى عَلِيٍّ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ إِزَارًا غَلِيظًا قَالَ «اشْتَرَيْتُهُ بِخَمْسَةِ دَرَاهِمَ فَمَنْ أَرْبَحَنِي دِرْهَمًا بِعْتُهُ» قَالَ وَرَأَيْتُ مَعَهُ دَرَاهِمَ مَصْرُورَةً فَقَالَ

«هَذِهِ بَقِيَّةُ نَفَقَتِنَا مِنْ يَنْبُعَ»
