[Machine] He used to eat olive oil during the year of famine, and he had prohibited lard for her. He tapped his stomach with his finger and said, "It growls. There is nothing but it until people revive."  

الزهد لأحمد:٦٠٨حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْهَيْثَمِ الزِّبَالِيُّ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْبَصْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ تَقَرْقَرَ بَطْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ

وَكَانَ يَأْكُلُ الزَّيْتَ عَامَ الرَّمَادَةِ وَكَانَ قَدْ حَرَّمَ عَلَيْهَا السَّمْنَ قَالَ فَنَقَرَ بَطْنَهُ بِإِصْبَعِهِ وَقَالَ تَقَرْقَرْ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَكَ عِنْدَنَا غَيْرُهُ حَتَّى يَحْيَى النَّاسُ

"عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: تَقَرْقَرَ بَطْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ وَكَانَ يَأْكُلُ الزَّيْتَ عَامَ الرَّمَادَةِ، وَكَانَ حَرَّمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّمْنَ، فَنقَرَ بَطْنَهُ بِإِصْبُعِهِ وَقَالَ: تَقَرْقَرَ تَقَرُقُرُكَ، إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لك عِنْدَنَا غَيْرُهُ حَتَّى يَحْيَا النَّاسُ".
