الزهد لأحمد:٦٠٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدِ بْنُ شُجَاعِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ السَّكُونِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ خَيْثَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُحَادَةَ أَنَّ حَبِيبَ بْنَ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ حَدَّثَهُمْ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ جَعْدَةَ قَالَ قَالَ عُمَرُ «لَوْلَا ثَلَاثٌ لَأَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ قَدْ لَقِيتُ اللَّهَ ﷻ لَوْلَا

أَنْ أَضَعَ جَبْهَتِي لِلَّهِ ﷻ وَأَجْلِسُ فِي مَجَالِسَ يُنْتَقَى فِيهَا طَيِّبُ الْكَلَامِ كَمَا يُنْتَقَى فِيهَا طَيِّبُ الثُّمَّرِ وَأَنْ أَسِيرَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ﷻ»
