[Machine] When the Prophet Job ﷺ was tested with the loss of his wealth, children, and health, he was thrown into a garbage dump. His wife would go out to earn what she could to feed him, but Satan envied him for it. People who used to come with bread and roasted meat to give as charity to Job's wife were told to drive her away, as she may transmit her husband's illness to them by touching them with her hand. The people started distancing themselves from her, saying, "Stay away from us, we will feed you, but do not come near us." Job was informed about this by his wife, and he thanked Allah for it. Whenever she would go out, people would treat her poorly because of the illness her husband had. Job would say to her, "Do not worry, my friend, I will not accept anything I am not happy with." "By Allah, if Jim were to speak just one word, all his troubles would be removed, and his wealth and children would return to him." Then she would come and inform him of what had happened, and he would say to her, "You have been visited by the enemy of Allah. He taught you this when Allah gave us wealth and children, and we believed in Him. Why should we not disbelieve in Him when He takes away from the one whom He has favored?" "If Allah cures me from this illness, I will flog you a hundred lashes." This is why Allah says, "And take in your hand a bunch of thin grass, and strike therewith, and break not your oath" [Surah Saad, 44]. By "thin grass," it means a handful of twigs.
