ahmad-zuhd:434ʿAbdullāh > Abū ʿAlī b. Thābit > a man Sammāh

[Machine] "Allah (ﷻ) said: 'O children of Adam, I created you, and you worship someone other than Me, and you call upon Me, and you run away from Me, and you remember Me and you forget Me, such is the greatest injustice in the land.' Then Al-Hasan recited: 'Indeed, associating others with Allah is a great injustice' (Quran, Surah Luqman, 31:13)."  

الزهد لأحمد:٤٣٤حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَبِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ أَخْبَرَنِي رَجُلٌ سَمَّاهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ وَقَدِمَ عَلَيْنَا مَكَّةَ قَالَ فَسَمِعْتُهُ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ قَالَ

اللَّهُ ﷻ بَنِي آدَمَ خَلَقْتُكَ وَتَعْبُدُ غَيْرِي وَتَدْعُو إِلَيَّ وَتَفِرُّ مِنِّي وَتُذَكِّرُ بِي وَتَنْسَانِي هَذَا أَظْلَمُ ظُلْمٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ قَالَ ثُمَّ تَلَا الْحَسَنُ {إِنَّ الشِّرْكَ لَظُلْمٌ عَظِيمٌ} [لقمان 13]
