ahmad-zuhd:409ʿAbdullāh > Bī > ʿAbd al-Ṣamad > Jaʿfar > Abū ʿImrān > ʿAbdullāh b. Rabāḥ > Kaʿb

[Machine] regarding "Indeed, Abraham was forbearing, grieving, and [frequently] returning [to Allah].” [Hud 75]. It was said that whenever he mentioned the Fire, he would say, 'Oh! Oh! From the Fire.'"  

الزهد لأحمد:٤٠٩حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أبِي حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرٌ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ عَنْ كَعْبٍ

{إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ لَحَلِيمٌ أَوَّاهٌ مُنِيبٌ} [هود 75] قَالَ كَانَ إِذَا ذَكَرَ النَّارَ قَالَ أُوَاهُ أُوَاهُ مِنَ النَّارِ
