[Machine] That Moses asked his Lord, he said, "O Lord, send down upon me a decisive sign, that I may lead them by it." Allah replied, "So Allah inspired to him, 'O Moses, go forth to what you have desired. And take in your hand your staff, that with it you may strike the waters and bring forth a dry path for the Children of Israel.'"  

الزهد لأحمد:٣٤٧حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أبِي حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحٌ الْمُرِّيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَلْدِ

أَنَّ مُوسَى سَأَلَ رَبَّهُ ﷻ قَالَ «أَيْ رَبِّ أَنْزِلْ عَلَيَّ آيَةً مُحْكَمَةً؛ أَسِيرُ بِهَا فِي عِبَادِكَ» قَالَ «فَأَوْحَى اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ أَنْ يَا مُوسَى أَنِ اذْهَبْ فَمَا أَحْبَبْتَ أَنْ يَأْتِيَهُ عِبَادِي إِلَيْكَ فَأْتِهِ إِلَيْهِمْ»
