[Machine] That Musa asked his Lord and said, "O Lord, with what do You command me?" He said, "That you do not associate anything with Me." He said, "And what?" He said, "And be dutiful to your parents." He said, "And what?" He said, "And be dutiful to your parents." He said, "And what?" He said, "And be dutiful to your parents." Then the Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed righteousness is with the parents, and verily the righteousness regarding the father, and with the mother, it prolongs the life and establishes the reward."  

الزهد لأحمد:٣٤٤حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أبِي حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَتِشٍ أَخْبَرَنَا مُنْذِرٌ عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ

أَنَّ مُوسَى سَأَلَ رَبَّهُ ﷻ فَقَالَ «يَا رَبِّ بِمَ تَأْمُرُنِي؟» قَالَ «بِأَنْ لَا تُشْرِكَ بِي شَيْئًا» قَالَ «وَبِمَهْ؟» قَالَ «وَبِرِّ وَالِدَتِكَ» قَالَ «وَبِمَهْ؟» قَالَ «وَبِرِّ وَالِدَتِكَ» قَالَ «وَبِمَهْ؟» قَالَ «وَبِرِّ وَالِدَتِكَ» قَالَ وَهْبٌ «إِنَّ الْبِرَّ بِالْوَالِدِ يَزِيدُ فِي الْعُمُرِ وَالْبِرُّ بِالْوَالِدَةِ يُثْبِتُ الْأَجَلَ»
