[Machine] Luqman said to his son, "O my son, I have never regretted silence, even though speech may be of silver, silence is of gold."  

الزهد لأحمد:٢٧٢حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْجُنَيْدِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ

قَالَ لُقْمَانُ لِابْنِهِ «يَا بُنَيَّ مَا نَدِمْتُ عَلَى الصَّمْتِ قَطُّ وَإِنْ كَانَ الْكَلَامُ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ فَإِنَّ السُّكُوتَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ»
