ahmad-zuhd:2239ʿAbdullāh from my father > Abū Muʿāwiyah al-Ghalābī

[Machine] Ibrahim ibn Adham said, "Do not let anything come between you and Allah, and consider the blessings from Him as a means of gratitude to you."  

الزهد لأحمد:٢٢٣٩حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ الْغَلَابِيُّ قَالَ

قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَدْهَمَ «لَا تَجْعَلَنَّ بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ اللَّهِ مُنْعِمًا واعْدُدِ النِّعَمَ مِنْهُمْ عَلَيْكَ مَغْرَمًا»
