الزهد لأحمد:١٩٥٣حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ مَحْمُودٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُبَارَكُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ يَاسِينَ الزَّيَّاتِ قَالَ جَاءَ ابْنُ الْكَوَّاءِ إِلَى الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ قَالَ دُلَّنِي عَلَى مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْكَ قَالَ

«نَعَمْ مَنْ كَانَ مَنْطِقُهُ ذِكْرًا وَصِحَّتُهُ تَفُكُّرًا وَمَسِيرُهُ تَدُبُّرًا فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنِّي»
