ahmad-zuhd:173ʿAbdullāh from my father > Muḥammad b. Fuḍayl > ʿAṭāʾ b. al-Sāʾib > ʿĀmir

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ , Abu Bakr, and Umar, may Allah be pleased with them, ate meat, barley bread, dates, and cold water. He said, "By the Lord of both of you, this is indeed a blessing."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٧٣حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ عَنْ عَامِرٍ قَالَ

أَكَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمَا لَحْمًا وَخُبْزَ شَعِيرٍ وَرُطَبًا وَمَاءً بَارِدًا فَقَالَ «هَذَا وَرَبِّكُمَا لَمِنَ النَّعِيمِ»
