[Machine] "We were with Abu Hurayrah when he had two worn-out garments. He took a piece of them and said, 'Bah, Bah, Abu Hurayrah is tearing up in cotton. Indeed, I saw myself between the pulpit of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) and the chamber of Aisha, fainting. Then a devilish being would come and sit on my chest. I would say, "That's not me. That is hunger.""

We were with Abu Huraira while he was wearing two linen garments dyed with red clay. He cleaned his nose with his garment, saying, "Bravo! Bravo! Abu Huraira is cleaning his nose with linen! There came a time when I would fall senseless between the pulpit of Messenger of Allah ﷺ and ʿAisha's dwelling whereupon a passerby would come and put his foot on my neck, considering me a mad man, but in fact, I had no madness, I suffered nothing but hunger."
