[Machine] He used to wear a turban and ride horses, and whenever I approached him, it was a delight for the eyes.  

الزهد لأحمد:١٣٢٩ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ مَهْدِيِّ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ غَيْلَانَ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ قَالَ لَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يُمِيتَنَا مِنْ خَشْيَتِهِ لَكُنَّا أَحَقَّ بِذَلِكَ وَقَدْ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّ رَبِّي ﷻ يَرْضَى مِنِّي بِدُونِ ذَلِكَ قَالَ

كَانَ يَلْبَسُ الْمَطَارِفَ وَيَرْكَبُ الْخَيْلَ فَإِذَا أَفْضَيْتُ إِلَيْهِ لَقُرَّةُ عَيْنٍ
