[Machine] "Stick to it with all your hearts, and by Allah, you will not attain the Hereafter from it with a dinar or a dirham. You will leave it on the surface of the earth and inside it, just as those before you left it. You will fight over it, just as you are fighting over it now. And you will deceive one another over it, just as you are deceiving one another now. And your religion and worldly life will be destroyed."  

أَلْزِقُوهَا بِأَكْبَادِكُمْ فَوَاللَّهِ مَا تَصِلُونَ إِلَى الْآخِرَةِ مِنْهَا بِدِينَارٍ وَلَا دِرْهَمٍ وَلَتَتْرُكُنَّهَا عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْأَرْضِ وَفِي بَطْنِهَا كَمَا تَرَكَهَا مَنْ قَبْلَكُمْ تَشَاجَرُوا عَلَيْهَا تَشَاجُرَكُمُ الْآنَ وَتَخَادَعُوا عَلَيْهَا تَخَادُعَكُمْ وَلَتَهْلِكُ دِينَكُمْ وَدُنْيَاكُمْ  

[Machine] Abu Mas'ud was approached by a man in need, so he went to his family and saw a gift. Ibn Awun believed that he said it was a sheep and chicken, so he asked, "What is this?" They said, "The man you spoke to sent it." Abu Mas'ud said, "Take it out, take it out. I will take the reward of my intercession in this world."  

أَنَّ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ كُلِّمَ لِرَجُلٍ فِي حَاجَةٍ فَجَاءَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ فَرَأَى هَدِيَّةً قَالَ ابْنُ عَوْنٍ أَظُنُّهُ قَالَ بَطًّا وَدَجَاجًا فَقَالَ مَا هَذَا؟ فَقَالُوا أَرْسَلَ بِهِ الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي كُلِّمْتَ لَهُ فَقَالَ أَخْرِجُوهُ أَخْرِجُوهُ آخُذُ أَجْرَ شَفَاعَتِي فِي الدُّنْيَا
