adab:647 – Juwayriyya, the daughter of al-Harith ibn Abi Dirar, (whose name had been Barra but the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, had renamed her Juwayriyya) reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, had left her and he did not want to go back in while her name was Barra. Then he went back to her while it was late in the day and found that she was still sitting. "Are you still sitting?" he asked, "After I left you I uttered four phrases three times. If they were to be weighed against all your words, they would outweigh them. They are:

'Glory be to Allah and by His praise in number as great as His creation and in accordance with His own pleasure and the weight of His Throne and the extent of His words.'"  

الأدب المفرد:٦٤٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَوْلَى آلِ طَلْحَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ كُرَيْبًا أَبَا رِشْدِينَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ جُوَيْرِيَةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَبِي ضِرَارٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ خَرَجَ مِنْ عِنْدِهَا وَكَانَ اسْمُهَا بَرَّةَ فَحَوَّلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ اسْمَهَا فَسَمَّاهَا جُوَيْرِيَةَ فَخَرَجَ وَكَرِهَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ وَاسْمُهَا بَرَّةُ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَيْهَا بَعْدَ مَا تَعَالَى النَّهَارُ وَهِيَ فِي مَجْلِسِهَا فَقَالَ مَا زِلْتِ فِي مَجْلِسِكِ؟ لَقَدْ قُلْتُ بَعْدَكِ أَرْبَعَ كَلِمَاتٍ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ لَوْ وُزِنَتْ بِكَلِمَاتِكِ وَزَنَتْهُنَّ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ وَرِضَا نَفْسِهِ وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ وَمِدَادَ أَوْ مَدَدَ كَلِمَاتِهِ

A dhikr of four phrases that's heavier than dhikr done all morning

that the Prophet ﷺ left ˹Juwayriyah, our mother and his wife˺ early in the morning after praying Subh (Fajr) and she was in her place of worship. He then came back at duha time (midmorning) and she was ˹still˺ sitting ˹doing dhikr˺. He asked, "Have you been in the same place since I left you?" She said: "Yes." Thereupon, the Prophet ﷺ said: "I recited four words three times after I left you and if these are to be weighed against what you have recited since morning these would outweigh them:

subḥān Allāhi wa-bi-ḥamdihī, adada khalqihī, wa-riḍā nafsihī, wa-zinata ʿarshihī, wa-midāda kalimātihi

(Exalted is Allah and praise is due to Him according to: the number of His creation, and ˹according to˺ the pleasure of His Self, and ˹according to˺ the weight of His Throne, and ˹according to˺ the ink of words ˹of His constant decrees or of praise that is due to Him.)"  

مسلم:٢٧٢٦a – حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَعَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ وَاللَّفْظُ لاِبْنِ أَبِي عُمَرَ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَوْلَى آلِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ جُوَيْرِيَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ خَرَجَ مِنْ عِنْدِهَا بُكْرَةً حِينَ صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ وَهِيَ فِي مَسْجِدِهَا۔ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ بَعْدَ أَنْ أَضْحَى وَهِيَ جَالِسَةٌ۔ فَقَالَ: «مَا زِلْتِ عَلَى الْحَالِ الَّتِي فَارَقْتُكِ عَلَيْهَا؟» قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ۔ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: «لَقَدْ قُلْتُ بَعْدَكِ أَرْبَعَ كَلِمَاتٍ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ، لَوْ وُزِنَتْ بِمَا قُلْتِ مُنْذُ الْيَوْمِ لَوَزَنَتْهُنَّ:

(سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ، وَرِضَا نَفْسِهِ، وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ، وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ)۔»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out from Juwayriyyah (wife of the Prophet). Earlier her name was Barrah, and he changed it. When he went out she was in her place of worship, and when he returned she was in her place of worship. He asked: Have you been in your place of worship continuously? She said: Yes. He then said: Since leaving you I have said three times four phrases which, if weighed against all that you have said (during this period), would prove to be heavier: "Glory be to Allah, and I begin with praise of Him to the number of His creatures, in accordance with His good pleasure, to the weight of His throne and to the ink (extent) of His words."  

أبو داود:١٥٠٣ – حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أُمَيَّةَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَوْلَى أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ عِنْدِ جُوَيْرِيَةَ وَكَانَ اسْمُهَا بَرَّةَ فَحَوَّلَ اسْمَهَا فَخَرَجَ وَهِيَ فِي مُصَلاَّهَا وَرَجَعَ وَهِيَ فِي مُصَلاَّهَا فَقَالَ لَمْ تَزَالِي فِي مُصَلاَّكِ هَذَا قَالَتْ نَعَمْ قَالَ قَدْ قُلْتُ بَعْدَكِ أَرْبَعَ كَلِمَاتٍ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ لَوْ وُزِنَتْ بِمَا قُلْتِ لَوَزَنَتْهُنَّ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ وَرِضَا نَفْسِهِ وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ
