Blight means anything which obviously damages (the crop), by rain, hail, locust, blast of wind, or fire.

الْجَوَائِحُ كُلُّ ظَاهِرٍ مُفْسِدٍ مِنْ مَطَرٍ أَوْ بَرْدٍ أَوْ جَرَادٍ أَوْ رِيحٍ أَوْ حَرِيقٍ
