Blight means anything which obviously damages (the crop), by rain, hail, locust, blast of wind, or fire. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3471)
الْجَوَائِحُ كُلُّ ظَاهِرٍ مُفْسِدٍ منْ مَطَرٍ أَوْ بَرْدٍ أَوْ جَرَادٍ أَوْ رِيحٍ أَوْ حَرِيقٍ
