"The Prophet would stone on the Day of An-Nahr during the morning light, as for (the days) afterwards, then (he would do it) after the Zenith of the sun."  

الترمذي:٨٩٤حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَرْمِي يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ضُحًى وَأَمَّا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَبَعْدَ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ عِنْدَ أَكْثَرِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ أَنَّهُ لاَ يَرْمِي بَعْدَ يَوْمِ النَّحْرِ إِلاَّ بَعْدَ الزَّوَالِ

“I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stoning ‘Aqabah Pillar at forenoon, but after that day, he would do it after the sun had passed its zenith.”

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ ضُحًى وَأَمَّا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَبَعْدَ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ

I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ throwing pebbles on the day of sacrifice while on his riding beast in the forenoon, and next when the sun had passed the meridian. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1971)   

أحمد:١٤٤٣٥حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَرْمِي يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ضُحًى وَحْدَهُ وَأَمَّا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَبَعْدَ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ

الحاكم:١٧٥٥حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْخَصِيبُ الصُّوفِيُّ ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْحَنَفِيُّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ قَالَا ثنا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ الْخُوَارِ ثنا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ لَا أَرْمِي حَتَّى تَزِيغَ الشَّمْسُ إِنَّ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَرْمِي يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ قَبْلَ الزَّوَالِ فَأَمَّا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَعِنْدَ الزَّوَالِ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ
