tirmidhi:3382 – Muḥammad b. Marzūq > ʿUbaydullāh b. Wāqid > Saʿīd b. ʿAṭiyyah al-Laythī > Shahr b. Ḥawshab > Abū Hurayrah

The Messenger of Allah said: “Whoever wishes that Allah would respond to him during hardship and grief, then let him supplicate plentifully when at ease.”  

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Gharīb.
الترمذي:٣٣٨٢ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ اللَّيْثِيُّ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَسْتَجِيبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ عِنْدَ الشَّدَائِدِ وَالْكُرَبِ فَلْيُكْثِرِ الدُّعَاءَ فِي الرَّخَاءِ  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ
