"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ judged that the children (sons and daughters) from the same mother and father inherit, not the sons from various mothers."
قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّ أَعْيَانَ بَنِي الأُمِّ يَتَوَارَثُونَ دُونَ بَنِي الْعَلاَّتِ
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled that the sons from the same mother inherit from one another, but not sons from different mothers. A man inherits from his full brother from the same father and mother, but not his brothers from his father.”
قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّ أَعْيَانَ بَنِي الأُمِّ يَتَوَارَثُونَ دُونَ بَنِي الْعَلاَّتِ يَرِثُ الرَّجُلُ أَخَاهُ لأَبِيهِ وَأُمِّهِ دُونَ إِخْوَتِهِ لأَبِيهِ
[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Indeed, the helpers (Ansaar) inherit from the descendants of Al-Ummiyyeen, excluding the descendants of Al-Ahlatis." Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in his summary.
