8.16 What Has Been Related About The Severity Of Back Biting For The Fasting Person

٨۔١٦ باب مَا جَاءَ فِي التَّشْدِيدِ فِي الْغِيبَةِ لِلصَّائِمِ

tirmidhi:707Abū Mūsá Muḥammad b. al-Muthanná > ʿUthmān b. ʿUmar > Ibn Abū Dhiʾb > Saʿīd al-Maqburī from his father > Abū Hurayrah

the Prophet said: "Whoever does not leave false speech, and acting according to it, then Allah is not in any need of him leaving his food and his drink."  

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan-Ṣaḥīḥ.
الترمذي:٧٠٧حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَمْ يَدَعْ قَوْلَ الزُّورِ وَالْعَمَلَ بِهِ فَلَيْسَ لِلَّهِ حَاجَةٌ بِأَنْ يَدَعَ طَعَامَهُ وَشَرَابَهُ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
