[Machine] "They are both adulterers who have come together." Ibn Mas'ud was asked, "What do you think if they repent?" He said, "He is the One who accepts repentance from His servants and pardons sins." Ibn Mas'ud kept repeating this statement until I said, "Indeed, he does not see any harm in it."  

الطبراني:٩٦٧٠حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ سُئِلَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَزْنِي بِالْمَرْأَةِ ثُمَّ يَنْكِحُهَا قَالَ

«هُمَا زَانِيَانِ مَا اجْتَمَعَا» فَقِيلَ لِابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَفَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ تَابَا؟ فَقَالَ {وَهُوَ الَّذِي يَقْبَلُ التَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَعْفُو عَنِ السَّيِّئَاتِ} فَلَمْ يَزَلِ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ يُرَدِّدُهَا حَتَّى قُلْتُ إِنَّهُ لَا يَرَى بِهِ بَأْسًا
