[Machine] "I saw Uthman ibn Affan on the minbar (pulpit) on Friday wearing a thick cotton garment that was worth four or five dirhams, along with a polished Kufi scarf. He had long hair and a beautiful face."  

الطبراني:٩٢حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ثنا أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَدَّادِ بْنِ الْهَادِ قَالَ

«رَأَيْتُ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ ؓ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ عَلَيْهِ إِزَارٌ عَدَنِيُّ غَلِيظٌ ثَمَنُهُ أَرْبَعَةُ دَرَاهِمَ أَوْ خَمْسَةُ وَرَيْطَةٌ كُوفِيَّةٌ مُمَشَّقَةٌ ضَرْبُ اللَّحْمِ طَوِيلُ اللِّحْيَةِ حَسَنُ الْوَجْهِ»
