[Machine] He entered the treasury and called for a candle that was in it. He lit it until it melted and said, "Where is the one asking about patience? This is patience."  

الطبراني:٩٠٨٣ – حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ

أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ بَيْتَ الْمَالِ فَدَعَا بِنُفَايَةٍ كَانَتْ فِيهِ فَأَوْقَدَ عَلَيْهَا حَتَّى إِذَا هِي ذَابَتْ قَالَ «أَيْنَ السَّائِلُ عَنِ الْمُهْلِ؟ هَذَا الْمُهْلُ»
