[Machine] On the authority of Salamah bin Nubayt, from Ad-Dahhak, that Abdullah bin Mas'ud melted silver from the Bayt al-Mal (treasury) and then sent it to the people of the mosque, saying, "Whoever wants to see generosity, let them look at this."  

الطبراني:٩٠٨٢حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا وَكِيعٌ

عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ نُبَيْطٍ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ ؓ أذابَ فِضَّةً مِنْ بَيْتِ الْمَالِ ثُمَّ أَرْسَلَ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ «مَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى الْمُهْلِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ إِلَى هَذَهِ»
