[Machine] The first to spread the Quran among the companions of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was Abdullah ibn Masood. The first to build a mosque for prayer was Ammar ibn Yasir. The first to give the call to prayer was Bilal. The first to ride his horse in the way of Allah was Al-Miqdad ibn Al-Aswad. The first Muslim to throw a spear in the way of Allah was Saad. The first Muslim to be martyred on the day of Badr was Mahja, the servant of Umar ibn Khattab. The first group of people who pledged allegiance to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ were the people of Juhayna. And the first to give voluntary charity from their own selves were the sons of Uthra ibn Saad.  

الطبراني:٨٩٦١حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ

«أَوَّلُ مَنْ أَفْشَى الْقُرْآنَ مِنْ فِي رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ وَأَوَّلُ مَنْ بَنِي مَسْجِدًا يُصَلَّى فِيهِ عَمَّارُ بْنُ يَاسِرٍ وَأَوَّلُ مَنْ أَذَّنَ بِلَالٌ وَأَوَّلُ مَنْ غَدَا بِهِ فَرَسُهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ الْمِقْدَادُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ وَأَوَّلُ مَنْ رَمَى فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ سَعْدٌ وَأَوَّلُ مَنْ قُتِلَ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ مَهْجَعُ مَوْلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ وَأَوَّلُ حَيٍّ أَلِفُوا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ جُهَيْنَةُ وَأَوَّلُ مَنْ أَدَّوُا الصَّدَقَةَ طَائِعِينَ مِنْ قِبَلِ أَنْفُسِهِمْ بَنُو عُذْرَةَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ»
