صَفْوَانُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ الْمُرَائِيُّ

tabarani:7400 – Mūsá b. Hārūn Wʾaḥmad b. Ibrāhīm b. > Bar al-Miṣrī > Mūsá b. Maymūn b. Mūsá al-Murāʾī > Abū Maymūn b. Mūsá from his father from his grandfather ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Ṣafwān b. Qudāmah > Hājar Abū Ṣafwān > al-Nabī ﷺ

[Machine] My father Safwan migrated to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in Medina and pledged allegiance to Islam. The Prophet ﷺ extended his hand to him and wiped his hand over it. Safwan said to him, "I love you, O Messenger of Allah." The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "A person will be with whom he loves."  

الطبراني:٧٤٠٠ – حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ وأَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَنْبَرٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ قَالَا ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مُوسَى الْمُرَائِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي مَيْمُونُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ قُدَامَةَ قَالَ

هَاجَرَ أَبِي صَفْوَانُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَهُوَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَبَايَعَهُ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ فَمَدَّ إِلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَدَهُ فَمَسَحَ عَلَيْهَا فَقَالَ لَهُ صَفْوَانُ إِنِّي أُحِبُّكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ»
