أَبُو السَّلِيلِ، عَنْ صُهَيْبٍ

tabarani:7321[Chain 1] Muḥammad b. al-Ḥusayn b. Mukram > Aḥmad b. ʿAbdullāh b. Kurdī [Chain 2] Muḥammad b. al-Muthanná > Sālim b. Nūḥ > al-Jurayrī > Abū al-Salīl > Ṣuhayb > Ṣanaʿt Lirasūl Allāh

[Machine] I cooked food for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then I went to him while he was sitting with a group. I stood in front of him and he motioned to me, so I motioned back to him. He asked, "And these people?" I replied, "No." So he remained silent. I returned to my place, and when he looked at me, I motioned to him again. He asked, "And these people?" Again, I replied, "No." He did this two or three times, and then I said, "Yes, these people." And it was only a small amount that I made for him. He came and they came with him, and they ate, and I consider it a favor from him.
