[Machine] When Salman knew that death had arrived, he called me while he was in a room that had four doors. Then he asked for some musk and said, "Rub it on my body with a tawr." So I did as he asked. Then he said, "Slaughter a sheep around my bed." After that, he said, "Take it down and stay by it, for soon you will see my proximity to my bed." So I looked and found that his soul had been taken, as if he were sleeping on his bed or something similar to that.  

لَمَّا حَضَرَ سَلْمَانَ الْمَوْتُ دَعَانِي وَهُوَ فِي عُلَيَّةٍ لَهَا أَرْبَعَةُ أَبْوَابٍ فَقَالَ افْتَحِي هَذِهِ الْأَبْوَابَ يَا بُقَيْرَةُ فَإِنَّ لِيَ الْيَوْمَ زُوَّارًا لَا أَدْرِي مِنْ أَيِّ هَذِهِ الْأَبْوَابِ يَدْخُلُونَ عَلَيَّ ثُمَّ دَعَا بِمِسْكٍ لَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ ادْبِغِيهِ فِي تَوْرٍ فَفَعَلْتُ ثُمَّ قَالَ انْضَحِيهِ حَوْلَ فِرَاشِي ثُمَّ انْزِلِي فامْكُثِي فَسَوْفَ تَطَّلِعِينَ قِرْبَتِي عَلَى فِرَاشِي فَاطَّلَعْتُ فَإِذَا هُوَ قَدْ أُخِذَ رُوحُهُ فَكَأَنَّهُ نَائِمٌ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ أَوْ نَحْوًا مِنْ هَذَا
