[Machine] And it was becoming difficult for him to almost not be able to control that. He then called for water and performed ablution and wiped over his socks. I said, "Why don't you take off your socks?" He said, "I saw someone better than me do that."  

الطبراني:٥٨٢٢حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْعَلَّافُ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْجُمَحِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَازِمٍ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ سَهْلَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ §يَبُولُ قَائِمًا قَالَ

وَقَدْ كَانَ كَبُرَ حَتَّى لَا يَكَادُ يَمْلِكُ ذَلِكَ مِنْهُ قَالَ ثُمَّ دَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ فَقُلْتُ أَلَا تَنْزِعُ خُفَّيْكَ؟ قَالَ «رَأَيْتُ خَيْرًا مِنِّي يَصْنَعُ ذَلِكَ»
