[Machine] Narrated Sa'id bin 'Ubaid: In the time of the Prophet ﷺ , I was called "Al-Qari'" (the reciter). I encountered an enemy and was defeated by them. 'Umar said to me, "Do you have any relatives in Syria? Perhaps Allah will grant you favor there." I replied, "Only the enemy I ran away from." He then addressed them in Al-Qadisiyyah, saying, "Indeed, we will face the enemy tomorrow, if Allah wills, and we are destined to be martyrs. Do not wash our bodies or shroud us in anything but the clothes we are wearing."
