[Machine] He used to revive the twenty-third night of Ramadan and the twenty-seventh night, as he did not revive the seventeenth night. So he was asked, "How do you specifically single out the seventeenth night?" He said, "Indeed, on that night, the Quran was revealed, and in its morning, the truth and falsehood were separated, and on it, the face becomes bright."  

الطبراني:٤٨٦٥حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ ثنا أَبُو بِلَالٍ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُحْيِي لَيْلَةَ ثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ وَلَيْلَةَ سَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ وَلَا كَإِحْيَائِهِ لَيْلَةَ سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ فَقِيلَ لَهُ كَيْفَ تَخُصُّ لَيْلَةَ سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ؟ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ فِيهَا نَزَلَ الْقُرْآنُ وَفِي صَبِيحَتِهَا فُرِّقَ بَيْنَ الْحَقِّ وَالْبَاطِلِ وَكَانَ فِيهَا يُصْبِحُ مُبْهَجَ الْوَجْهِ»
