سَهْلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيُّ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ

[Machine] I heard Zaid ibn Thabit saying, "When the revelation was revealed to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , it would weigh heavily on him, and sweat would drip from his forehead as if it were pearls, even in cold weather." The wording is from 'Uqbah ibn Mukram.  

الطبراني:٤٧٨٧ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنُ مَنْدَهٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالَا ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ يَقُولُ «كَانَ إِذَا أُنْزِلَ الْوَحْيُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ثَقُلَ لِذَلِكَ ويَحْدُرُ جَبِينُهُ عَرَقًا كَأَنَّهُ الْجُمَانُ وَإِنْ كَانَ فِي الْبَرْدِ» وَاللَّفْظُ لِعُقْبَةَ بْنِ مُكْرَمٍ
