[Machine] Mu'adh bin Rifaa'ah bin Raaifah narrated to me: "Rifaa'ah was from the Badriyyeen (the companions who participated in the Battle of Badr), and Raaifah bin Malik was from the Ahl al-Aqabah (the companions who pledged allegiance to Prophet Muhammad at the Second Pledge of al-Aqabah), and he did not witness the Battle of Badr."  

الطبراني:٤٤٥٤حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عَارِمٌ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ

حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاذُ بْنُ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعٍ «وَكَانَ رِفَاعَةُ بَدْرِيًّا وَكَانَ رَافِعُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الْعَقَبَةِ وَلَمْ يَشْهَدْ بَدْرًا»
