[Machine] I was sitting with the Prophet ﷺ when a man said, "O Messenger of Allah, we are in a land where we are afflicted with the desert wind. What is permissible for us from the dead animals?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If you do not find any slaughtered animal, nor have any captive to slaughter, nor find any refuge or shelter, then it is permissible for you." This narration was reported by Al-Walid ibn Muslim from Al-Awza'i from Hassan from Marthad or Abu Marthad, and it is a fabrication. The correct narration was reported by Abdullah ibn Kathir Al-Qarri from Al-Awza'i.
