عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ؓ

[Machine] Yes, I saw him sitting in the Zamzam well. I asked him if he had seen it dyed, and he said, "No, but I saw it and his beard is black up to this point, meaning his chin, and below that it is white. He also mentioned that the Prophet ﷺ had a similar spot on his face and he resembled him."  

الطبراني:٢٩٠٠حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّاقِدُ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللهِ بْنَ أَبِي يَزِيدَ رَأَيْتَ الْحُسَيْنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

نَعَمْ رَأَيْتُهُ جَالِسًا فِي حَوْضِ زَمْزَمَ قُلْتُ هَلْ رَأَيْتَهُ صَبَغَ قَالَ «لَا إِلَّا أَنِّي رَأَيْتُهُ وَلِحْيَتُهُ سَوْدَاءُ إِلَى هَذَا الْمَوْضِعِ يَعْنِي عَنْفَقَتَهُ وَأَسْفَلُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ بَيَاضٌ وَذَكَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ شَابَ ذَلِكَ الْمَوْضِعُ مِنْهُ وَكَانَ يَتَشَبَّهُ بِهِ»
