لَمْ يَكُنْ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدٌ أَشْبَهَ بِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِنَ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ

[AI] Hasan ibn Ali had the closest resemblance in appearance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .

كَانَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ أَشْبَهَهُمْ وَجْهًا بِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

[AI] that he saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and Hasan ibn Ali was the one who most resembled him.

أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، وَكَانَ أَشْبَهَ النَّاسِ بِهِ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ.

[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and Hasan ibn Ali was the person who most resembled him.

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، وَكَانَ أَشْبَهَ النَّاسِ بِهِ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ.

None resembled the Prophet ﷺ more than Al-Hasan bin ʿAli did. (Using translation from Bukhārī 3752)

«لَمْ يَكُنْ أَحَدٌ أَشْبَهَ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنَ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ»

قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَكان الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ يُشْبِهُهُ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , handed over the flag to Ali ibn Abi Talib when he was twenty years old."

«دَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الرَّايَةَ إِلَى عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً»

[AI] I saw Hassan bin Ali dyeing with black.

«رَأَيْتُ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ ؓ يَخْضِبُ بِالسَّوَادِ»

[AI] "That Hassan bin Ali used to dye (his hair) with black."

«أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ ؓ كَانَ يَخْضِبُ بِالسَّوَادِ»

[AI] That Hasan bin Ali used to dye with black.

«أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ ؓ كَانَ يَخْضِبُ بِالسَّوَادِ»

[AI] He saw Hasan bin Ali, wearing black robes, riding on a black horse.

أَنَّهُ «رَأَى الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ ؓ مَخْضُوبًا بِالسَّوَادِ عَلَى فَرَسٍ ذَنُوبٍ»

[AI] He said, "Al-Hasan used to seal with his left hand."

أَنَّهُ قَالَ «كَانَ الْحَسَنُ يَتَخَتَّمُ فِي يَسَارِهِ»

[AI] "He resembled the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , al-Hasan ibn Ali."

«كَانَ أَشْبَهَهُمْ بِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ؓ»

[AI] That Al-Hasan ibn Ali used to isolate himself from her and she was his secret.

أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ ؓ كَانَ يَعْزِلُ عَنْهَا وَكَانَتْ سَرِيَّتَهُ

[AI] "That Husayn ibn Ali used to dye his beard with henna."

«أَنَّ الْحُسَيْنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ كَانَ يَخْضِبُ بِالْوَسْمَةِ»

[AI] I saw Al-Hassan and Al-Hussein -may Allah be pleased with them- dyeing themselves with black.

«رَأَيْتُ الْحَسَنَ وَالْحُسَيْنَ ؓ يَخْضِبَانِ بِالسَّوَادِ»

[AI] "I saw Hussein bin Ali dyeing himself with black."

«رَأَيْتُ الْحُسَيْنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ يَخْضِبُ بِالسَّوَادِ»

[AI] I entered upon Al-Husayn ibn Ali, and he had dyed himself with black.

«دَخَلْتُ عَلَى الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ؓ وَقَدْ خَضَبَ بِالسَّوَادِ»

[AI] That Husayn ibn Ali used to dye with black dye.

«أَنَّ الْحُسَيْنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ كَانَ يَخْضِبُ بِالسَّوَادِ»

[AI] I saw Al-Hussein ibn Ali dyeing with black.

«رَأَيْتُ الْحُسَيْنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ يَخْضِبُ بِالسَّوَادِ»

[AI] That Hussein bin Ali used to dye himself with black dye.

«أَنَّ الْحُسَيْنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ ؓ كَانَ يَخْضِبُ بِالسَّوَادِ»

[AI] That Hussein ibn Ali used to wear his signet ring on his left hand.

«أَنَّ الْحُسَيْنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ ؓ كَانَ يَتَخَتَّمُ فِي الْيَسَارِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If there were to be a prophet after me, it would be Umar ibn al-Khattab."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَو كَانَ بَعْدِي نَبِيٌّ كَانَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ»

[AI] "I saw the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , and he resembled Hasan ibn Ali."

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَكَانَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ يُشْبِهُهُ»

"عَن الزُّهرِيِّ، عَنْ أنَسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ أَشْبَهَهُمْ بِرَسُولِ الله ﷺ الحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِىٍّ".
