[Machine] Uyaynah ibn Hisn entered upon the Prophet ﷺ , and there was a man with him who asked for water to drink. So, water was brought to him, and he covered himself and drank. The Prophet ﷺ said, "What is this?" He replied, "Modesty and faith. I was given both of them, and I was prevented from both of them."  

الطبراني:٢٢٦٨حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُطِيعٍ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي غَنِيَّةَ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ قَيْسٍ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ

دَخَلَ عُيَيْنَةُ بْنُ حِصْنٍ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَعِنْدَهُ رَجُلٌ فَاسْتَسْقَى فَأُتِيَ بِمَاءٍ فَسَتَرَهُ فَشَرِبَ فَقَالَ مَا هَذَا؟ قَالَ «الْحَيَاءُ وَالْإِيمَانُ أُوتُوهُمَا وَمُنِعْتُمُوهُما»
