[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked, "Who are the best people in times of turmoil?" He replied, "A man who holds onto the reins of his horse, fearing the enemy and being feared by them." Then a man said to Ta'awwus, "O Abu Abdur-Rahman, who is the enemy?" He said, "The polytheists."  

الطبراني:٢١٩٢٢حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ أنا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أُمِّ مَالِكٍ الْبَهْزِيَّةِ قَالَتْ

سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَيُّ النَّاسِ أَفْضَلُ فِي الْفِتْنَةِ؟ قَالَ «رَجُلٌ أَخَذَ بِرَأْسِ فَرَسِهِ قَدْ أَخَافَ الْعَدُوَّ وَأَخَافُوهُ» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ لِطَاوُوسٍ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَيُّ عَدُوٍّ؟ قَالَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
