[Machine] I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, send my brother Zaid with me." He said, "He is here, so if he chooses to accompany you, I will not prevent him." Zaid said, "No, by Allah, O Messenger of Allah, I will never choose anyone over you." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I saw that my brother's opinion was better than mine."  

الطبراني:٢١٩٢ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَا ثنا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي جَبَلَةُ بْنُ حَارِثَةَ قَالَ

قَدِمْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَرْسِلْ مَعِي أَخِي زَيْدًا قَالَ «هُوَ ذَاكَ فَإِنِ انْطَلَقَ مَعَكَ لَمْ أَمْنَعْهُ» فَقَالَ لَا وَاللهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَا أَخْتَارُ عَلَيْكَ أَحَدًا أَبَدًا قَالَ فَرَأَيْتُ رَأْيَ أَخِي أَفْضَلَ مِنْ رَأْيِي

" عَنْ جَبَلَةَ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ قَالَ: قَدمْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلتُ: يَارَسُولَ الله! ابْعَثْ مَعِى أخِى زَيْدًا، قَالَ: هُوَ ذَا بَينَ يَدَيْكَ، فَإنِ انْطَلَقَ مَعَكَ لَمْ أمْنَعْهُ، فَقَالَ زَيْدٌ: لَا، وَاللهِ يَارَسُولَ اللهِ! لَا أَخْتَارُ عَلَيْكَ أَحَدًا أبَدًا، قَالَ جَبَلَةُ: فَكَانَ رَأىُ أَخِى أَفْضَلَ مِنْ رَأيِى".
