[Machine] I attended the death of Ibrahim, the son of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Whenever I fell ill, my sister and the women would call out, and no one would silence them. But when he died, they forbade us from wailing. They carried him to the edge of the grave, with Al-Abbas standing beside him. Al-Fadl ibn Abbas and Usama ibn Zaid entered his grave. I cried beside his grave, and the sun was eclipsed. People said, "This is because of his death." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, the sun does not eclipse for the death or life of anyone." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a slit in the grave and ordered for it to be filled. They asked, "O Messenger of Allah, will it benefit him?" He said, "It will benefit him and not harm him, but it will harm the living." He died on a Tuesday, on the tenth of Rabi' al-Awwal, in the year ten.
